This news has been going around the campus like wild fire!!! Janine Vangool my teacher for information design last semester publishes a magazine out of her gallery and work space uppercase in art central. The magazine Uppercase was chosen as one of the 16 finalists in the annual Society of Publication Designers Magazine of the year category. Her self directed (i think pretty much a team of one... as well as contributors) magazine is standing next to GQ, The New York Times, Wired, and Esquire to name a few!!! Way to go Janine!
